So, have you ever had an injury/illness that requires medical attention, but the doctor can't see you for two weeks? Then by the time you get there your injury/illness has cleared up?
This has been an ongoing thing with Cailey's neck since she was only a few weeks old. She would lean her head all the way to her shoulder, and cry. Then a few days or a week later it would be better. The last time we took her in, I told the doctor that I had read an article in Twins Magazine about a condition called infant torticollis that causes the neck muscles to shorten or tighten. It usually occurs with Twin A (Cailey) from being so compressed in utero. He didn't really think she had it since her neck appeared to be fine, so last week while she was having an episode, I grabbed the camcorder and started filming. I brought the camcorder with to her appointment today and there was no denying it. So my girl is going to get a few sessions of PT, finally.
In other irritating news, I went to my multiples meeting last night. We had a guest speaker who had been booked for months. Tons of emails went out. Bring your friends! Open to all parents! Yeah, 6 people showed. hmmph.
