Twice in one day?

My goal today is to get everyone outside, twice! We went for a walk this morning, and I finished cleaning out my closet. I'm probably going to drop around 2:00, but I'd like to get out in the yard to play when the girls wake up. Yesterday, I dragged both ExerSaucers outside, got the girls ready, took them out one at a time with Brodie, and ten minutes later it started to rain. Grrrrrrr!!!

Brodie is finally taking some initiative on the potty. I'm so proud of him! We have a busy weekend ahead of us. I think we're taking Brodie to the children's museum early tomorrow (as a potty reward) and then getting together with friends. Sunday, we're having a cookout at my sister and brother-in-law's, and Monday is GARDEN day! My neighbor has graciously offered to let me have some of his tomato plants that he grew from seeds and has been taking care of for two months. That means I'll have to go buy some herbs and maybe some cukes or zucchini. I love my garden. Why is it that I can't keep flowers and houseplants alive to save my life, but I can grow veggies? I personally think it's because veggies are functional. Hmm. Food (literally) for thought.
