Oh, and I think my cloth diaper escapade has come to an end. They leak all the time. I've stuffed those things with doublers, microfiber towels...everything but sponges. I've tried 2 different brands. I have one more set coming from Canada (on loan for trial purposes) but once I try them, I'm done. Some of the moms on the message board said they change their twins every 60-90 minutes. No, no...not me. I had no problems with extra laundry or the poop factor, but that's too much for me.
The girls have their 9 month checkup on Friday (even though they'll be 10 months on Saturday?). We're going to get them off of formula and onto whole milk this month. Cailey has PT tomorrow. I think she's doing well. She still doesn't sit for very long, but I think that's her choice. Yesterday was terrible. Both girls each got a leg wedged between the crib rungs. I needed to use lotion to dislodge them, and even then it was in there pretty tight. I put the bumper pads back on for a temporarys solution, but now they can't see each other. Cailey was very distraught at bedtime when she couldn't see her sister.
I'm going to see about buying some mesh or netting to weave in and out of the crib rungs. I'm thinking velcro loops at the tops? I have GOT to get going with childproofing around here. I'm so screwed when both these monkeys are walking.
