Go on, guess! 5 and 1/2!!!! The babies drink 3 gallons a week, Brodie drinks about 1 gallon a week, Tom and I have a gallon of skim milk for Instant Breakfast and Chai, and we have 1/2 a gallon of chocolate milk for fun. AND, now that each child eats a whole waffle, and waffles are the favorite breakfast of all 3, we have a huge box of 60 waffles. I'm hoping it will last through September.
Cate has suddenly decided that sleeping is not fun, and in order to prolong awake time, she now pitches her pacifier and bunny out of the crib. Being the good mom that I am, after returning said items a few times, I simply turn off the monitor and let her scream. She did not nap at all this morning, and she woke up a few times this afternoon crying (because the Nuk and bunny were on the floor). Oh, yeah: she also likes to throw food on the floor.
Brodie's teachers told me again today how well mannered he is, and kind to the other kids (I keep waiting for them to drop the hammer). He was so hot, sweaty, and tired today that halfway home he asked me to carry him. I told him I can't carry him and push the stroller! He made it home and pounded a sports bottle of ice water. Now he's laying in bed talking to himself. I'm glad he's having a good time. I'm sad there's no school on Monday!
