Santa and Christmas Program

Yesterday, Brodie had his preschool Christmas program. It was "Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus." He had an excellent time and it was cute. The preschoolers sang, "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and "O, Candy Cane." The kindergarteners did a short play w/ songs about The Christmas Story, and then everyone sang "Happy Birthday," and cake and punch was served.

Afterwards, we took everyone to the mall to see Santa. Brodie was a bit star-struck and couldn't remember anything that we wanted for Christmas. The babies weren't scared. They were mesmerized by Santa's beard, so it was hard to get them to look away from him for a picture. After the picture, Santa told me that he was the father of twin girls. I must have missed that Rankin/Bass Christmas special. ;)
