Yesterday, I took Cailey to her PT evaluation. I drove 20 minutes to the hospital, parked brought her up PT, only to find out her appointment was at the OTHER hospital which is 5 minutes from my house. I don't know how I did that. They were nice enough to call the other hospital, and they did wait for us.
Not sure what to make of the evaluation. They're going to finish it next week. Cailey has ALWAYS sidebent to the right. This week she's sidebent left! Torticollis doesn't switch sides. The PT said she seems to turn fine to the right, but uses her body to turn to the left. She also has tensor extension, which means if you put her in a sitting position, she resists and straightens out her body, either straight back or sliding forward if you are supporting her back. The PT gave us stretches/exercises for left torticollis, but said if she leans right again to reverse everything. Great. Because I am so good with right and left. I guess I need to bring my camcorder there, too.
AND, while we were there, I saw that Cailey has 2 more teeth that were not there yesterday! She now has one of her top incisors and the other bicuspid. I think that's 5 for each. I need to write it in their baby books.
After I brought Cailey home, I said goodbye to everyone again, including my little knight who says, "nee!" (Tom made him an "armor" helmet out of a box and foil--pretty damn funny!) I went out to a former co-workers house for an American Idol party. It was nice to see everyone and catch up on the dirt. I kind of miss it. Oh, if you care, the Bob Seger/Joe Cocker/"I'm crapping in my pants while I sing" guy won. Haha.
