It actually looks like a yard now!

We spent most of yesterday out in the yard. It was beautiful and nearly 70. Tom cleaned out the little corner next to our patio and sawed off some bushes that were out of control. I weeded along the patio and cleaned up the fence line, getting rid of all the leaves and garbage and crap that had blown up against it all winter. Weed whack, mow, and voila-our yard looks like a yard! The girls were not up for the fresh air yesterday. They screamed and yelled and rebelled against their sun hats, so after lunch they napped while we went back out. Brodie ran around played with all of his outside toys, and made a few half hearted attempts at pedaling his trike and Big Wheel, although he is getting better. We ended the day with brats on the grill. The kids were all asleep by 7:30, and I fell asleep on the couch at 8!
