Yesterday was a $hitty day (literally). I've about had it with my "stubborn/strong-willed/resistant" son and his aversion to the toilet. I'm about ready to give up and let his wife deal with it. When Tom got home, he presented me with cash and sent me out to eat alone and to use my gift cards at Kohl's. Very nice. There's an upside to having a "fragile" day, I guess. Today has been better. He finally gave into his "internal urges." There was much rejoicing. I'll leave it at that.

I gave the ladies Cheerios for the first time today. Just like when Brodie was that age, they raked them into their fists, and couldn't figure out how to actually get the Cheerios to their mouths. There was much shrieking and yelling.

My living room looks like a Godzilla set. There's a Fisher Price Little People farm, village, garage, ark, ferris wheel, zoo and train set up. Godzilla (aka Brodie) himself is running through his "town" and terrorizing all of the Little People. It's about time for my favorite time of the day; naptime. The ladies are babbling upstairs, and I'm about to put the smack down on Godzilla, here.
