Sunday, after breakfast, I loaded everyone up and went to my sister and brother-in-law's house to visit. My parents were in town. The girls didn't do too badly considering that they skipped their morning nap. Brodie had a good time (except he didn't like the part where he spilled his Kool-Aid, he said), and started watching "Uncle's favorite movie," Aladdin.
Tom got home the same time I did and helped me unload all the kids, and then I was off to a Stampin' Up open house. It was fun; I won a glitter-glue pen (I never win anything!). Got home, cleaned up the kitchen, put dinner in the oven, and then it was time to feed the girls. I finally got to finish The Vanished Man. It was pretty good. A few too many plot twists for me. I started The Bourne Supremacy today.
I had the urge to do absolutely NOTHING today. I did a half-a$$ed job of mopping the floor, I gave the girls baths, and made sauce and meatballs. Oh, I folded one hamper of clothes. I found out that Brodie is short one shot for preschool. Won't THAT be fun this week?
Tonight around 9:30, Cate woke up crying. We let her cry for a few minutes but it just kept escalating, and she sounded scared. I went up and she was sitting up crying, half awake. She looked like she was falling asleep sitting up. I laid her back down with her Nuk and bunny, and when I got back downstairs she was crying again. We waited again, then Tom went up. Same deal when he came back down. I finally decided I'd go up and try to rock her. She usually is not much of a snuggler, but she sure was tonight. I haven't been able to snuggle with her that long since she was a little itty-bitty. I stayed up there longer than I needed to, I'm sure, but she was so sweet. I'm still up because I keep hearing her grunting and moving around up there...
