Toys R Us and Barnyard

Yesterday, after lunch we took everyone to ToysRUs to look at stuff for the kids' birthdays. We were looking at scooters, and they had different sizes, so we took a few display scooters down for Brodie to test. He stepped up on the first one; paused and said, "Wait. I need a helmet." He walked over to the rack, picked a helmet, put it on, buckled it, and got back on the scooter! SmileyCentral.com

Today, I went to the outlet mall to exchange some stuff, and when I got back, Tom and Brodie went to see Barnyard. Brodie liked it; apparently there are some scary coyotes in it, though. I got some quilting done while they were gone. Tom made Tandoori chicken on the grill, and we had curried rice with it.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! Preschool starts tomorrow. Brodie is so excited, and so am I. I laid out his clothes and backpack yesterday. I feel anxious, because I'm SO afraid that he isn't going to listen or be good, and I feel guilty because I'm not sad! Is that wrong? There's no hot lunch on the first day, so he's going to take his lunch in "Daddy's" Batman lunchbox. I better start working on a note to put in his lunch box.
