5 days since my last post? How did that happen? Week in review:
Monday: I realized early in the day that I didn't have Ziti for Ziti Al Forno, and needed a few extra things. I picked Brodie up from preschool, took everyone to "The Pig," and I allowed my child to do something I swore I'd NEVER let him do. I let him push a kid shopping cart around the store. I pushed the stroller, he pushed the cart and was very good. He didn't crash into any people, and hardly any shelves. Never say 'never.'
Ziti Al Forno with tiny meatballs is like a hybrid of baked ziti and lasagna. I started making sauce and meatballs at 2:45, and we ate at 6:30. It was very tasty though. It was a lot of food, and thankfully it can be prepared the day before and refrigerated before baking.
Tuesday: Brodie and I made the best darn chocolate chip cookies that I'VE every made. I only wish I could stop eating them. Mom's Night with the twins group. The gameplan was to meet at Panera for coffee for an hour, then head to an 8:00 movie. 6 of us showed up, which I thought was a good turnout, and we talked until we realized it was after 8:00. We closed Panera's and headed to Chili's for chips and beverages.
Wednesday: Tom took a half day and I took Cailey to PT. She's seeing a specialist at the end of the month so we're putting PT on hold until after that. We had a mini-Thanksgiving dinner last night. Turkey steaks, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and cranberry apple stuffing. Those babies like stuffing! Tom and I had to move the cribs apart today. The babies didn't take a nap. They were playing; stealing bunnies, throwing everything back and forth and then on the floor...sillies.
Today: Windy, cold, snow! Soup and sandwiches tonight. Brrr!!! Hopefully NBC stuff is new tonight.

I let Gabriel do that about 2 years ago at the Pig as well. I was not so lucky. The pole with the flag that is attached to the cart caught on an end cap display and pulled it down on top of him. I was a wire rack full of chips and the cut out center of the rack fell right around where he and cart from Hell stood. Millie was sitting in the cart and said "uh oh" and I was friggin' moritified. Other shoppers and employees came rushing to my aid and I wanted to die inside.
