I notice a trend that as these girls become more mobile, the less I'm posting. Hmmmm.
This morning we loaded up the brood and met 2 other moms and twins from one of the boards. It was a lot of fun (I needed a serious nap when I got home). I hope we can do it again sometime! The kids all played in the toddler play area (sometimes together, sometimes not). Cate developed an insane love/hate relationship with a fiberglass gorilla the likes of which I've never seen....kissing it, giggling, then crying hysterically and screaming at it. I'd move her away, and she'd walk right back over there and scream. She screamed for a long time at bedtime, too, and needed to be rocked (post-traumatic-gorilla-disorder). We didn't get any shopping done. It's amazing how 7 small children dictate the adults schedules. ;)
When we got home everyone napped, except Tom, who did the last mow of the year. We've been working on Thanksgiving plans, menus, and lists. Our table will be a little smaller this year, as Tom's parents and sister will not be able to join us. Larry is recuperating from double bypass, and we are just glad he's feeling better. Hopefully they'll make it up this way after the holidays.
