Since the first step last week, Cailey will now stand alone for 5-10 seconds on occasion, and will take 1 or 2 steps. She's getting there. I'm sure she'll be running by the time her eval. rolls around.
We had a good time this weekend. I had a nice laid-back birthday. I got to choose what I wanted for dinner, so I had Tom bring home Mexican food from Tacos El Rey. Tom and kids gave me a Lucinda Williams CD and a $40 stamping spree coupon. Elizabeth and Chris came over later and we played Disney Scene It. Saturday night, Bill, Nicki, Mike, Cheryl, and Elizabeth came over. We played Catchphrase, and noshed on snacks all night. Brodie and Elizabeth had a great time.
Yesterday was pretty lazy. We laid around in pjs most of the morning. We had to call the police because someone pulled down 3 slats of our privacy fence, ran through our yard, and pulled the chain link gate off the hinges through the night. Stupid a-holes.
All the kids are in various stages of a cold. Brodie is getting over his, Cailey is right in it, and Cate is on the verge of getting one. It's snowing like crazy here, so I think I'll have to call school and have them bring Brodie out the back door to me. I doubt the sidewalk will be clear enough for a stroller.
