We have another milestone!

Cailey sat up unassisted for over a minute on Sunday night and Monday morning. Tom took off work yesterday for a slew of appointments and whatnot. Cailey had PT in the morning, and is doing so well that she earned herself a week off. She's holding her head up straight, and beginning to sit supported and unsupported. She was also cooperative for the first time (I think it's the morning time). The PT said that 3 weeks ago her Peabody score was showing her at about a 5 month old level, and she guesses now that she's closer to 7 months.

Brodie had a doctor appointment yesterday, too. The nurse found him a mini-gown to wear and he thought they were "funny pajamas." He started dancing around the room singing, "Go baby, go baby!" I don't know where he learned it from, but it was funny. He was quite charismatic, and insisted on listening to his own heart and mine with the "stefascope." I decided since he memorizes everything he sees on TV, I'm only going to let him watch medical shows and Court TV in the hopes of him becoming a Doogie Howser, M.D. type, or a lawyer.

Bill came over for dinner and we had pork chops on the grill, broccoli, and sour cream 'n' chive mashed potatoes. Tom and I watched Ladder 49 last night. It was a movie about the life and career as firefighter (Joaquin Phoenix). It was good. We've watched a LOT of movies in the past few weeks.

Tonight, Tom and I are going out to celebrate our 8th anniversary. I can't believe we've been married for 8 years and have 3 children already!!
