My Grammie came up on Thursday to fold my laundry. I've been so good about keeping up with laundry, but it slipped away from me. There was a LOT of laundry to be folded. We had a nice visit, and I appreciate everything she does for us. As she left, she said, "Call me in three weeks when the laundry is piled up to the ceiling, and I'll come back." Hardy-har-har.
Brodie is officially registered for preschool. It keeps getting better and better. Not only can we drop him off anytime after 6:30 (included in our tuition), but I found out that he gets hot lunch there (also included in our tuition)! Even for half days! They eat at 11:00, and preschool ends at 12:00. So...Tom can drop him off on his way to work, so I only have to pack up the girls once. I am very fearful of Brodie's behavior, however. I'm sure I will receive several notes/phone calls during the first few weeks. We dropped off his registration, and the secretary brought us to his classroom. They combine 3,4,5 year olds during the summer. How many 3 year olds walk into a room full of strangers and loudly announce, "Hi, everyone! I'm Brodie! I'm a good boy!" The kids were listening to a story and he just pranced around talking and investigating and wouldn't listen to me, so I had to remove him from the room (screaming of course-him not me). Those teachers already have his name written down, I'm sure (I would).
It's so freaking hot! I can't take the kids anywhere. I need to carry a bandana with me like a farmer to wipe my face by the time I get Brodie buckled in, and the girls strapped into their rear-facing car seats. Tom and I sat out on the front porch last night at 10:00pm and the air was so thick, it was hard to breathe. Tom wants to finish cleaning out the garage this morning, and I would like to take everyone somewhere this afternoon, but where? Mall? Museum?

It's easy to write his name down when he so loudly tells everyone what it is!!
