Too...hot...to....do.....anything!

The high is supposed to be 100. The heat index probably will be 115. Just like yesterday. It's to hot to go anywhere! It's even too hot to pack up the kids and go to the mall! Brodie is going nuts. Sunday we took everyone to Gurnee and walked, but he needs to run!

Congratulations to Tom's co-worker who just found out she's expecting twins! How exciting!

Cailey drank from a sippy cup this morning! Cate will hold her own bottle, but Cailey will not. Cate was not real crazy about having her milk in a sippy the other day, either, but at least tried. Frustrated, this morning after their bottles, I dug out the handled sippies that I tried a few months ago. I had shoved them to the back of the cabinet when they didn't take to them. I put some white grape juice and water in the cups, and they both drank out of them! I guess we need to practice a little more. Cailey was completely covered in juice, and she dumped a lot, but she still drank out of it.

I've managed to coordinate schedules for the last 3 or 4 days so that the 5 of us have eaten together. They've all been fast easy meals, so I don't see it lasting real long until the girls have full control over their bottles/cups. The babies had gyros this weekend, cheese, sausage and crackers, and taco salad. Tonight we'll try ham and cheese omelettes.
