So, within a few days, Brodie has become an expert on wildlife. The other day, he was showing my mom and I how he can be an octopus. He crammed a plastic fish between his legs and said he's catching it with his tentacles. lol Yesterday he asked me if bats poop hanging upside-down (they don't, if you are wondering), and he wants to know everything under the sun about Emperor Scorpions (but he will only stand 24" away from their tanks). Today while watching Prehistoric Planet, he asked me if those were "feces dinosaurs." I'm guessing the narrator used the word feces...
He never ceases to amaze and amuse.
My mom went home today. She came up on Sunday for my Body Shop party. I ordered stuff and got a ton of free stuff, too! I can't wait for it to come in. On Monday, the girls had their first haircuts. It was quick and painless. Cailey cried some, but only because the hair dryers scared her. Tuesday was a day of errands and shopping with the kids, and last night my mom and I went to Stamp Camp. Today was a day of long naps for everyone.
Oh, I'm also pissed at the cable company. The cable has been wonky all week, and Monday night I stayed up late to watch REM be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Just as they came on (at the end of the show, naturally) the cable went out. >:(
