My sister came to stay for the weekend since Tom went to New Mexico. On Saturday we went to Target, lunch, highlighted my hair, played in the yard with the kids, went for a walk, went to dinner and came home and watched Charlotte's Web. She fell asleep on the couch at 8:00. I think we broke her.
Sunday morning we took the kids to the zoo, grabbed lunch, and then Brodie, Elizabeth and I played outside during the girls' nap. Brodie picked up all the garbage on our property and posed for a tree-hugging photo opp. :snicker: Daddy was glad to see all of us that night when he got back.
Oh dear Lord. My youngest child (by one minute) is going to give me a head full of gray hairs. Her new trick is to stand on the toybox and fall onto the couch. Today she missed and did a full-on face plant onto the ground. It may not seem far, but the toybox is at least 18" high, and she's at least 33 or 34" tall. It knocked the wind out of her and scared her (and me...where's the Valium?). She appears to be uninjured (and unfortunately unphased).
On another "going green" related note, I mopped the floor and cleaned the bathroom with Borax. I don't think I need to buy any other cleaning supplies.
