Kite Flight

We had an excellent afternoon yesterday. The weather was absolutely perfect! Low 70s, sunny and virtually cloudless. Chris and Kim came up and we all went down to the lakefront to the annual kite flight. I took some pictures, but they really don't do it justice. There were professional stunt kite fliers flying large kites to music. In the last picture, if you can tell, there are about 4 people dressed alike in front of the large windwills. They were each flying kites in a synchronized "routine." It was very cool. There were so many kites in all shapes and sizes that I couldn't take pictures of everything. Everyone had a good time (except Cailey who cried the whole time). Brodie was very wound up all day and was more of a handful then usual. (:gulp:)


After we were there for a while, we headed back home and had chicken-ka-bobs and grilled veggies with potatoes. We had Brodie's favorite dessert; pound cake with Cool Whip and blueberries. I think Chris and Kim enjoyed themselves. It's always crazy around here with the kids, but hey... that's just the way it goes!

This note is more for myself: Friday and Saturday the girls had pancakes, crackers, Veggie-Booty, and banana chunks.
