HOT.

There's really not much you can do in this heat with 3 little ones. It's too hot for the kiddie pool when there's no shade, and it's not even worth it to load everyone up and go somewhere with A/C when we have A/C, here.

Saturday after dinner, Brodie and Tom did the grocery shopping. Yesterday was just a hot lazy day of doing nothing (although I did laundry, brought the pack n play up and the rocking chairs down, and did my other daily chores). Brodie was supposed to go to Elizabeth's house to swim, but he became belligerent and combative after not napping so he chose to have a one hour tantrum instead. After the babies went to bed, we took him outside. He and Tom played Bocce while I re-tied my tomato plants, picked some veggies and watered the garden. Then we let Brodie play in the hose until he was soaking wet (he was then confused as to why he needed a bath when we came in).

Today I have to pack everyone up to go tour a preschool (with stairs, of course). I plan to call every preschool in the county and find out which ones are ground level, no stairs, or have a ramp or elevator. grrr.
