9:40am Put Cailey in van
9:41am Cate poops in new diaper (grrr)
9:43am Load Brodie in van, change Cate on floor of van
9:45am Departure
10:00am Arrive at doctor's office, check in
10:40am Still waiting....crowd is growing restless....have watched every single person in waiting room get called and then some. Beginning to get pissy since this is a nurse appointment for a HiB shot. Go ask at desk what the hell is taking so long.
10:40am Brodie takes off like a shot, he gets about 5 yards on me before I take him down in a tackle that would make football fans weep....wonder if a talent scout is in the waiting room
10:45am Medical Assistant FINALLY comes out
10:46am Unhook umbrella stroller connectors when I realize they don't fit through the freaking door at the doctor's office (grr)
10:50am M.A. hems and haws about whether she should do it in the arm or leg, wonders if he's going to be "okay" with this, does he know what's going on....less gabbin' more stabbin', lady; hustle up
10:52am My big brave boy doesn't cry, and exclaims that "it didn't hurt at all!"
10:54am M.A. starts to leave, forgetting that my strollers are not connected. Hellooo????
11:00am Load 3 kids in the van in a serious rage, yet again, at the incompetent staff at doctor's office. Drive everyone down to lake so Mommy can have a "time-out" and listen to the waves.
