Well, after 2 full shifts at the liquor store, Tom quit. Yay! He didn't get home until 2 am, and he only gets paid until midnight. It must of been bad for him to quit.
I think we're going to try to take in some of the "Hosary Rosary Festibul" as Brodie calls it. We took everyone to IHop for lunch. It went much smoother than the other dining experience. The waitress actually listened and brought the kids food out first. I think from now on Cailey and Brodie should share a plate, and Cate should have her own. We ordered something from the kids menu for the girls to share: 5 silver dollar pancakes, 1 scrambled egg (looked more like 2 eggs), and 2 sausage links. I gave each girl 2 pancakes, 1/2 the egg, and 1 link (we did not give them the last pancake that had the ice cream scoop-sized butter dollop). Cate was yelling and screaming the whole time I was cutting up her food ("Hurry up, vile woman! Feed my face!") and tore into it. She ate ALL of it, tried grabbing Cailey's food, and I finally had to give her some Cheerios and crackers. Cailey ate slowly and didn't finish everything, while Brodie picked at his funny-face pancake. It was much more fun to drum on the creamers with crayons. *rolling eyes*
Hey, everyone--I'd like to rename my blog title. I'm kind of sick of ...And then there were 5. It sounds like a sappy movie. Any suggestions?
