First day of preschool!

This morning I started taking pictures of Brodie with his backpack. We walked to school, and he was off! He was ready and raring to go; barely stopping to hang up his backpack. I kissed him goodbye, he wiped my kiss away and started playing. My house was very quiet, and I kept wondering what was going on at school.

I had to drive to pick him up because it started raining. He was running around in the gym having free play with the other kids, and having a wonderful time. His teachers both said he was very good, and Mrs. Joy said he was very helpful and kind to other kids (phew). His new friend Chloe was crying because she missed her mommy and Brodie put his arm around her to comfort her and told her, "I promise your mommy will be here soon. It's okay." He was so excited to tell me all about his day. He played and had a snack, and helped the other kids with the puzzles. He ate lunch and played! We came home and he got to have a cookie from the cookie bouquet that Aunt Melissa sent him. He's laying down right now, but not napping. I predict he will be asleep soon!
