So, I've been reflecting on the past year a lot lately (hey, it's my Blog...I can do what I want).
A year ago I was home with 2 new babies, and we were feeding them every 2 hours. I remember going through 100 diapers in the first 5 days. We walked in a zombie-fog unlike anything I can describe. I also remember mixing Carnation Instant Breakfast with my coffee to make some demented nutritionally adequate mocha, and then switching to a diet of Diet Coke, cheese and pretzels in the afternoon. "Napping" for an hour after Brodie's bedtime before the next feeding, being up every night to see Craig Ferguson, nudging Tom awake as he dozed off while he fed a baby...I kept thinking back to how well rested I was when Brodie was a newborn, by comparison.
I would like to thank our family and friends for providing us with unconditional love, help, and support over the past year. I really don't know how we would have made it through.
