Sausage Saturday.

Today we had my parents, sister and brother-in-law over, and we made 65 pounds of Italian sausage. By hand. No electric grinder...just 2 hand grinders and 6 adults. We started around noon and finished by around 6:00, I'd say. I think it went well, and we all had fun, although we've decided we need to change Sausage Saturday to a warmer month. We did not get to grill and sample our finished product since the temperature was -5 w/ a -25 degree wind chill.

Brodie had a great time, although he was expecting sausage with eggs and toast. :-P We also had a little birthday party for my dad and I when we were all done.
